Cutting edge book

Neuromancer is a science fiction novel written by William Gibson, published in 1984. The story follows Case, a washed-up computer hacker hired for one last job: to pull off the ultimate hack against a powerful artificial intelligence. This groundbreaking work is significant in literature as it popularized the cyberpunk genre, introducing concepts such as virtual reality and cyberspace that continue to influence modern storytelling and technology. It was a cutting-edge book. Jon Seagull had read it. I still haven't. My research involved working in the microfiche library and finding articles for him. It was kind of like a Google search before Google.
