Supplies Needed:
- Hot water (1 cup, not boiling)
- Epsom salts (2 tablespoons)
- Optional: 1/2 tsp Himalayan or Sea Salt (for stiffness)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
- Optional: 1/2 tsp natural conditioner (skip if you have fine/oily hair)
- Optional: Essential oils or perfume for scent
- Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon vodka (for lightening hair)
Instructions:
Get a Spray Bottle: Find a bottle that holds at least 10 ounces (a glass apple cider vinegar bottle works well).
Mix Ingredients:
- Pour hot water (or tea) into the spray bottle.
- Add Epsom salts, sea salt (if using), aloe vera, conditioner (if using), scent (if using), and lemon juice/vodka (if using).
Shake: Cap the bottle and shake for 1-2 minutes until the salts dissolve.
Store:
- Keep in the fridge if you used lemon juice or tea.
- Store at room temperature if you didn’t.
Usage:
- For beach waves: Spray on damp hair and scrunch with a towel.
- For volume: Spray on dry hair and roots.
Note: The spray can last 3-4 months or longer.
